John Lewis Wedding Fair

I am exhibiting some of my wedding photography at the John Lewis Wedding Fair at the Guildhall on Guildford High Street on Sunday 11th. Wedding Photography at Rivervale Barn in Yateley

I went to beautiful Rivervale Barn in Yateley yesterday, to meet with a couple who are getting married there later this month. It is a wonderful place full of opportunity for truly outstanding wedding photography. It is somehow very refreshing to come to new venues and try different techniques to capture beautiful wedding photographs, and I know Rivervale won't disappoint. I am very much looking forward to capturing some wonderful wedding photos for my couple in a few weeks time!

Wedding Photography in Surrey

I have had the pleasure of undertaking wedding photography at some of the very top wedding venues in Surrey. I have many favourites, but I guess if I was to pick one for my own wedding, then it would be beautiful Northbrook Park in Farnham. Weddings at Northbrook are always stunning, and the stunning gardens allow me to be very creative with the photographs. Other favourites include Gate Street Barn in Bramley, and Horsley Towers in East Horsley. All these venues are stunning places, and they allow me to create beautiful wedding photographs that leave my clients in awe! Here is a small collection from each venue…

The Beer Shot

Everyone seems to love the ‘beer’ shot I do. I photograph the groom, best man and ushers all with a pint in their hands and then create what would otherwise seem quite an ordinary image into something that really works! Everything becomes black & white except for the pints of beer themselves, which remain in colour. The resulting image just makes people laugh, and my clients past and present seem to love it, and always ask if I am going to include it in their wedding photos!

Matt & Katherine were married in Ely Cathedral on the 28th May this year. The cathedral itself is a beautiful building inside and out and posed a wonderful challenge for me to get the best possible photos for the happy couple.

I am lucky that my work takes me to some of the very best venues around the country. Most of my wedding photography work is in Surrey, West Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire, however I do get asked to go further afield quite regularly. In fact, I have no limit to how far I will travel. I'm still waiting for someone to ask me to come to the Maldives to be the wedding photographer for their big day!

Wedding Photography in Guildford

On Saturday, I photographed James and Michelle Gilham's wedding at Guildford Cathedral. The cathedral was consecrated in 1961 and for me is certainly more beautiful inside than its red brick exterior. The stone interior lends a beautiful calm and serenity and is a wonderful place for a wedding ceremony. I had the opportunity of photographing James and Michelle's wedding ceremony from the gallery, which enabled me to capture the sheer majesty of the building, and then zoom in for more intimate shots.
